The Double Grasper consists of two independently operated color-coded jaws and one central plate, and replaces two separate graspers with one in a variety of laparoscopic procedures.
The Double Grasper is a reusable device that can be used to grasp and hold tissues for approximation, and in preparation for suturing or stapling.
It currently available in a 5mm diameter with 30mm jaw length.
Features include:
- Two independently operated jaws on either side of a shared central plate
- Subtle yet effective teeth on each jaw to prevent slipping and sliding
- Jaws are closed in the resting position, and opened with trigger activation, minimizing stress on the surgeon's hand
- Tactile-coded triggers with a bubble and dimple to allow easy identification during surgery
- Thumb-operated triggers accommodate right and left-handed surgeons
